Spring updates

We’ve never been open during colder weather but thankfully with a full woodshed and lots of our Welsh blankets, all of our guests have managed to keep themselves warm inside their yurt or train carriage.

The sheep finished lambing on the day we opened so the fields are now full of over excited lambs all bouncing around like they’re on trampolines. Thea and I are going off this week to hopefully buy some goats to graze the yurt meadow and provide us with lots of milk and meat. I’ll let you know how we get on.

The newly re-fitted solar showers have been pumping out loads of hot water every day for those brave enough to take off their warm clothes! The showers now have some salvaged oak duck boards that we made from timber from the firewood pile.

We have still got availability this April so if you fancy a little break this spring… contact us here
