Our Farm

Crynfryn has been our family’s organic farm for four generations. It is also home to a herd of pedigree Hereford cattle, sheep and hens.

The farm is 150 acres with footpaths and farm trails through pasture, woodland and bluebells by the stream.

Remember that Crynfryn is a working farm so please take extra care.

The Train Carriage is perfect – walking down here after a warm power shower, passed baby chicks through pathways surrounded by moss covered trees to see the comforting sight of smoke billowing from the chimney atop the little red carriage is magical.

The space is beautiful – a great tribute to the superb craftsmanship. Attention to every small detail…the incorporation of the old metal into the new wood. We have had a really cosy time here and found “hugge” (Danish concept of cosiness) – a real compliment from Anette who is half Danish. – Stayed in The Train Carriage.

What a magical spot. I love the selection of fine teas, fine linens, plentiful sun heated water, flowers in the toilet, singing birds and warmest welcome. We saw a big barn owl swooping over the yurt, majestic and white- keep your eyes peeled.

We have had a lovely week…. Thea and Laurie’s approach is so relaxed and welcoming and everything so well crafted and loved. This is a real gem of a place.
