One man went to mow, went to mow a meadow….

With the promise of at least 5 days of good weather my dad could finally start making silage. The grass is cut then baled and wrapped in plastic. It is then stored until winter by when it has ‘ensiled’ and turned into silage. This silage is what our cows and sheep will eat over the winter and spring months when the grass doesn’t grow.
