So here we go again… the yurts have begun to go up for what will be our 6th year as happy yurt farmers. With beaming hot sun, we almost got sunburnt while oiling the yurt frames, putting up the walls and slotting in the rafters.

Over the winter i made new king size beds for each yurt. They are all a bit different, some made from left over pieces of steam bent ash from the train carriage, some from a lovely cherry tree from the farm and some made from scraps from the firewood pile. I hope you enjoy them.
