Going crabbing in the evening in Aberaeron harbour has been our almost weekly summer event.
We’ve spent hours of fun catching the forgiving little nippers off the harbour wall. Our children and friends have caught big ones, small ones, angry ones, greedy ones, skittish prawns and even a slippery eel. Its great to watch the concentration and excitement on their faces as they carefully try to pull a crab up into their bucket before it drops off back in to the water. Luckily, they don’t seem to mind being caught again and again!
Also, its the perfect excuse for us as parents to get a honey ice cream from The Hive. Simple things. Everyone is a winner!
We’ve got a few spaces available for shorter midweek bookings this summer if you fancy going crabbing too!
