Emerging again from the long Welsh winters and planning for the year ahead feels great.

The Train Carriage is open from the 18th of March this year so its time for us to start getting the site ready.

This always starts with a long list of jobs and impovements to get our site ready to welcome guests back. First on this years list involves caring for all the trees, clearing paths and making sure the wood shed is crammed full of lovely dry firewood. We have plans for some dry stone walling around the entrance too.

It feels really good to be outside, working in the cool fresh air with nothing but the sound of birds for company.
