At last…. yesterday the sun came out and heated the solar panels up to fill our water tank with lots of hot water. In the absence of sun, we have mostly had to rely on our solar ready gas powered boiler for the last 6 weeks to provide hot water. It is somehow much more satisfying to use hot water generated by the sun rather than gas, and cheaper. Thank you sun!
The site and our yurts have held up really well to this unusually moist summer but if you are coming to stay soon, don’t forget your wellies!
A chunky hedgehog has been rustling around the yurt field this year, if your lucky you might catch a glimpse of him or her in the undergrowth. Here’s a lovely picture our guests Josh and Rachel took of him.
