Good to be open again

Last week we welcomed back our first guests of the year. Whooppee!!

It was a great moment to be able to open this year after all the uncertainty so far of 2020. It feels like big open places like ours are really needed right now so that everyone can stretch their wings again in safety after lockdown. We’re really happy to be able to offer this to our guests as we know how fortunate we are at the moment.

We’ve been re landscaping and have put in some paths and moved the Train Carriage up the into the yurt meadow. You can even drive all the way down to the yurt meadow now. No more long wheelbarrow walks!

We will be open until the end of the October half term this year to try and give everyone the chance of coming to stay. Hopefully you can find some dates that work for you.

Whilst we’ve been closed this year we’ve been busy working on our house (nearly there!) and even more excitingly, designing some new structures to replace out yurts. We are thinking of big woody spaces that will make the most of the natural surroundings of the yurt meadow. They will be self contained off grid units.

Can’t wait to share the designs and building process with you soon!
